The team on Tuesday released updated projections estimating the $4.5 billion project would create an $8.2 billion one-time economic impact during construction and generate $1.5 billion in annual economic activity once the facilities open in 2031.

The proposal includes a $3 billion stadium in Wyandotte County, a $300 million practice facility and team headquarters in Olathe, and $1.2 billion in privately funded ancillary developments surrounding both sites.
