It's Not Officially Summer & Kansas City Royals Already Look Like Farm Team

Just for context . . .

In the Northern Hemisphere, astronomical summer officially begins on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at 4:24 A.M. Central Daylight Time (PDT). This date marks the summer solstice, which is the longest day and shortest night of the year.

This not-so-fun fact is important to remember because in KCMO we start Summer when school is out and local "scholars" often make streets unsafe . . . We like to think of the world in bigger terms but, invariably, we always come back to our losing home team.

Tonight's results . . .

"Luis García Jr. hit a go-ahead single, Dylan Crews added a three-run homer and the Washington Nationals scored five times in the fifth inning to beat the Kansas City Royals 7-3 on Monday night."
