Tragically, and predicted by so many of our readers, Kansas City violence impacts World Cup fans.
Here's the word that escapes local news coverage . . .
ARGENTINE FANS DOGE GUNFIRE EN ROUTE TO KANSAS CITY WORLD CUP!!!
Sadly, guns ablazing on local streets is a tragic circumstance endemic to Kansas City life.
Tonight local news focuses on the police manhunt and word from politicos, we want to dig deeper and provide context . . .
What the global audience might not know and what local politicos downplay is that KC Proper remains mired in RECORD-BREAKING VIOLENCE that correlates with the tenure of Mayor Quinton Lucas . . . Many critics claim the violence was sparked by racially-charged rioting during the COVID-era wherein one of the youngest mayors in local history shouted and yelled with crowds "No Justice, No Peace!!!"
Shortly thereafter, mobs or rioters looted the Country Club Plaza . . . A local entertainment district that was subsequently sold at a steep discount and now hosts dozen of empty storefronts.
But all that is prologue to a tragic and shameful moment in local history . . . Check-it:
A group of Argentina fans said they were shot at while riding in an Uber to a World Cup match in Kansas City.
The supporters claimed another car pulled alongside their Uber and fired twice as they were traveling to Argentina’s opening Group J match against Algeria.
“They shot at the car as we were coming,” one fan told Argentine outlet La Nación, according to Newsweek. “They shot at the Uber twice.”
