
Here's the thing . . .
Locals are correct to mourn the destruction of this local haunt . . . Muhammad Ali might have made a stop there and it was certainly home to a political awakening.
However . . .
It was also a hangout for drug dealers and gangsters. So it's acceptable if we don't all get misty-eyed about it's decline.
Worse still . . .
Neighbors are absolutely correct to mourn the blight that not only impacts historic locations but also current residents and their property . . . Check this aftermath quote and link:
