"Both Masterson and Schwab spun out the rhetoric that no new taxes will be required to pay for the $3 billion Chiefs stadium. They just can't admit that our taxes will increase because WE will have to pay to backfill the tax dollars diverted from the "incremental" increase in sales tax both state and local which will go to pad the pockets of the Hunt family. Wow!! All the while they both stood idly by watching our property taxes skyrocket. That's called a 2 tier tax system: one for the wealthy who get great property and sales tax reductions while the rest of us chumps continue to write checks to pay our bloated tax bills."
