Cashless Kansas City Bus Fare Comeback Sparks Rising Outcry

Despite the fact that most of our upwardly mobile "activists" live in nicer suburbs, we're really surprised that our transit-minded friends aren't catching onto trending outcry from locals on Kansas City streets regarding the return of bus fares.

The basics . . .

CASHLESS KANSAS CITY BUS FARES HAVE SPARKED INTENSE CRITICISM FROM LOCALS AND MEDICAL PROS!!!

A few things to watch for . . .

- We expect some transit resistance and complaints to council are already starting to pile up.

- It's interesting that urban medical pros are beginning to notice because bus riders are missing appointments given the disastrous return of fares by way of the new cashless system.

- Always useful "activists" are gearing up for more bus protest and want to abolish fares rather than try something more workable.

Here's one of the more popular complaint with about 5K likes on Insta that's starting to generate more attention . . . Check-it:

"Patients can’t get to their drs appointments because the bus fair system is not accessible. This is causing a public health breakdown for the most vulnerable."
