Historically, Ward Parkway is one of the most beautiful and prestigious paths in all of the Kansas City metro. It has been hope to power players on a national scale and still defines local politicos for a great deal of the region.

Sadly, this morning . . . Our blog community shares this critical perspective . . .  

"This morning on my walk I saw there was a rather small tree that was blocking the entire southbound lane of Ward Parkway near 66 Terrace.  This is something that a tree crew would be able to remove and probably less than 10 minutes to allow traffic to continue but Kansas City being the world klaas city it is instead has allowed this tree to just block the traffic. Nobody attending it nothing - what a joke."
