"There are 150 artists taking part in this year’s Parade of Hearts sculptures across the Kansas City area this year, and on Wednesday, the auction to bid on the pieces begins.
"One sculpture however, won’t be up for bidding on Wednesday. It was destroyed after being vandalized several times, but the artist says he’ll make sure it will be back on the auction block soon."

Parade of Hearts sculpture vandalized in Kansas City
Mike Elder's popular sculpture is part of this year's Parade of Hearts. But over the weekend, it was vandalized as it sat on a busy corner in east Kansas City.
