THE JACKSON COUNTY SHERIFF IS FEELING HEAT OVER NEW JACKSON COUNTY JAIL COMPLAINTS!!!

We understand why he skipped out of this interview . . . He's had a less than cordial relationship with the media and a slew of community critics. 

For now . . . This is the best report we've seen about the crisis so far . . .  

"Families of Jackson County inmates are concerned about conditions inside the new $320 million detention center that opened less than two weeks ago.  Their concerns with a lack of access to showers for hygiene, slow meal deliveries, and a lack of cable television inside the new 470,000 square foot jail along U.S. Highway 40, come as Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forté has recently pushed back against county legislators trying to pass a proposal for better living conditions and standards of care inside the new detention center."
