Smallish Kansas Pay Hike Sparks Outrage

Harsh times turn even worse for workers on the low-end in the Sunflower State . . . Check-it: 

The decision to give state employees such a small pay raise frustrated a number of leaders, including Gov. Laura Kelly, who told The Capital-Journal she thought state employees deserved more.

"The Legislature threw a 1% dog bone increase to state employees," Kelly said. "Employees who work full-time, all-year round as opposed to a Legislature that rushed out of town without finishing their work.”
