In negotiations behind the scenes, a property tax reform bill died when lawmakers couldn’t come to an agreement. All year, lawmakers from both the House and Senate and both Republicans and Democrats said getting Missourians’ property tax relief was their number one priority.
The proposals will have to start over from the beginning next year.
