"Lawmakers in Jefferson City gave final approval Wednesday to a state government spending package exceeding $50 billion for the 2027 fiscal year. This includes an operating budget totaling $48.7 billion.
"The Missouri House approved all of the spending measures by Wednesday afternoon, with lawmakers in the Missouri Senate approving most of the appropriation bills by the time of this article Wednesday evening."
