Forgive the post headline snark . . .
Actually, we admire this guy for his efforts and putting together what looks to be a campaign that's more in line with most Johnson County Republicans.
For better and worse, this straight forward effort approach like it will speak to GOP voters more so than election trickery by way of a conservative "housewife" campaign or the long shot right-wing immigrant success story candidate they ran last time . . . Both of which were soundly rejected by voters.
Here's the word . . .
"A former Shawnee city councilmember is running for the Republican nomination for Kansas’s Third Congressional District.
"On Thursday, Eric Jenkins announced he is seeking the Republican nomination for Kansas’ Third U.S. House District to vie for the seat currently occupied by Democratic Congresswoman Sharice Davids."
