Senator Hawley Demands Abortion Pill Ban

After the U.S. Supreme Court lifted the temporary pause on chemical abortion pill mail orders, the drug, mifepristone, has returned to unregulated nationwide shipment.

Now, Congress must “ban it,” Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, told The Lion.

“Congress needs to ban it, and only Congress can ban it,” Hawley said in an exclusive interview Thursday. “So, we should just say no more mifepristone for use in abortions. It was a mistake ever to have approved it. We should ban it now, and Congress needs to do that ASAP.”
