Platte County Backs Off Candidate Disqualification But Republicans Still Drop Out

By a vote of two-to-one, Platte County’s commission voted not to disqualify seven candidates that were going to be on the August primary ballot.

However, four of the seven candidates disqualified themselves from that ballot before the commission voted: Dale Brouk, Holly Cayer, Chris Kendall, and James Robinson. All four of those candidates are Republican and were running for different positions.
