Olathe School Board Refuses Graduation Mention Despite Grieving Mom's Plea

Neither an online petition signed by 5,000 people nor the ask for compassion from a grieving mom moved the callous school board to spare a few seconds for a student after a tragic crash . . . Check the aftermath: 

The Olathe Board of Education will not change its policy on recognizing deceased students during graduation ceremonies. 

In an announcement released on Monday, it stated it will continue to hold a moment of silence and give families an honorary diploma, but will not say the student’s name aloud.
