The KCMO disaster has already inspired Lockton to move to Leawood, a council member to bail on the neighborhood and a great many luxury home owners to pull up stakes behind the scenes.
Sadly . . .
Even so many participating in the conversations don't have a clue about the REAL future for the Plaza, public land and a sketchy PUBLIC HOUSING PARTNERSHIP already in the works.
Check-it:
On Tuesday, the Finance, Governance, and Public Safety Committee will hear an ordinance that would rezone much of the Plaza to the Master Planned Development (MPD) District, and includes the plan to redevelop and maintain the Country Club Plaza.
The other proposed ordinance would vacate the sidewalk-right-of-way in Country Club Plaza.
