Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids Earns Accolades For 'Showing Up' Amid Reelection Campaign

A lot of our conservative friends never seem to understand why Kansas Rep. Sharice Davids continues to trounce her opponents despite redistricting, widespread GOP opposition and the reality that she's not a very good debater.  

Here's a clue . . . 

Like it or not, her strongest supporters argue that Rep. Sharice Davids EXCELS and personal interactions and meetings in small groups where she isn't just more accessible than her opponents but seemingly develops a stronger connection than average politicos . . . Here's a bit of high praise that proves as much:  

Let's talk numbers for a second, because these blew me away: In 2025 alone, she responded to nearly 200,000 constituent messages — an average of 532 Kansans every single day. She has now responded to more than ONE MILLION phone calls, emails, letters, and in-person messages since taking office. She hosted 200 private constituent meetings in a single year. 

She runs regular pop-up office hours all around the community so every constituent — no matter where they live in the district — can access her and her staff in person. 🗓️

When KCUR organized a public town hall last year and invited every member of Congress representing the Kansas City area, Sharice showed up. Every Republican senator and representative either declined or never even responded. Sharice was there. She is ALWAYS there. ✅
