"Senate Bill 63 is "likely unconstitutional," Douglas County District Court Judge Carl Folsom III wrote in granting a statewide temporary injunction against enforcing the law.
"The 2025 law, in part, barred transgender minors from receiving gender-affirming medical care, including puberty blockers and hormonal treatments, from health care providers. It also prohibited trans youths from receiving gender-affirming surgery."
