The latest plauge to captivate mainstream media has arrived on the plains.

"The Kansas Department of Health and Environment said it is working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and a local health department.

"According to the state, the three people were exposed to someone with the Andes hantavirus who’d been on the MV Hondius cruise ship.

"The three individuals in Kansas were not aboard the cruise ship and are not currently experiencing symptoms, according to the KDHE. To protect their privacy, no additional details will be shared."
