Kansas City Tree Canopy Revival 2026?!?

The idea of urban planning by way of more forestry emerged during the pandemic when local streets turned desolate and the American way of life and our friends and neighbors somehow seemed to adopt the "Tang Ping/Lying Flat" ideology and hoped to avoid the pressures of modern life by way of doom scrolling, credit card debt and food delivery options. 

Of course this strategy isn't sustainable . . . But it beats gig work. 

Either way . . .  

Both the Kansas City "green line" and the tree canopy are mostly something that local government pays hipsters in their mid-thrirties to talk about on social media  . . . Similarly, here's public TV getting in on the action since they didn't feel like putting together a week in review segment . . .
