Kansas City Shelter Suffers 'Large Dog Crisis'

A cry for pupper help and possibly the best excuse to make a new friend . . .

The shelter is in the middle of what officials are calling a "large dog crisis."

"Right now, every kennel is full," the organization wrote in an email to supporters.

"Our team is doing everything we can to keep up, but the need continues to grow, especially with big dogs."

"We need our community more than ever," the shelter said.
