Kansas City Metro Home To Hantavirus Treatement At KU Med

Tonight's quick note from ground zero . . . 

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is continuing to investigate after three people were reportedly exposed to an individual with the Andes strain of hantavirus.

KDHE said on Wednesday those three individuals have been taken to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, for observation.
