The punchline for the 12th & Oak transit agenda is that after so much protest and prep for global tourists, locals who rely on the bus will be LITERALLY left out in the cold.

Transportation & Infrastructure Committee approved an allocation of $85.6 million to the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority. The expenditure is less than what the KCATA said it needs, likely necessitating service cuts.
Bus fares will be reinstated on June 1.
