Also, that top photo is what we imagine it might take to make some of our suburban friends feel more relaxed in the urban core.  

But here's more perspective . . .  

"Data from KCPD shows overall crime in the Crossroads is down 65 percent so far this year compared to the same time in 2025. But for many business owners, it doesn’t feel that way, particularly around one parking lot on the corner of Southwest and Broadway."
