A nice way to set apart political neophytes and noobs is if they talk about the Latino vote . . . Fun fact in KC is that there is virtually NO SIGNIFICANT LATINO VOTE and across the nation Latinos vote at a lower rate than any other ethnic group.
Instead . . .
Council dude Crispin could be the closest that the Northland gets to political representation given that he might be the most likeable option for suburbanites and/or locals who aren't sold on the longstanding efforts of local Black political leaders to make history by earning a victory for the first African-American female mayor in KC's history.

"Councilman Rea, a Kansas City native, currently serves the 4th District in Kansas City, Missouri, as well as the council’s finance, governance and public safety committee. He assumed the 4th District office in August of 2023, and spent years as a Jackson County prosecuting attorney and a member of the Kansas City Public School Board before his election."
