"The expansion of the Kansas City National Security Campus is aligned with a nationwide push towards increased production of new nuclear weapons: weapons aimed at China, Russia and Iran.

"The DOE and NNSA are holding our City captive by tying our economic future to worldwide calamity.

"We demand a halt to the New Cold War and arms chase! Our City’s production, engineering talent, and construction jobs should be re-routed to addressing the housing, climate, and economic crisis."
