Kansas City 18th & Vine Public Skate Rink: Tragedy Waiting To Happen?!?

We know why they built this one . . . Back in the heyday there was an EPIC East side skating rink that still strikes a chord with older urban residents . . . But that time has past and this new plan is doomed before they even start turning dirt.

Check the scheme . . .

"Kansas City Parks and Recreation officials announced that construction is underway on a 16,000-square-foot roller skating rink and parking lot at Blues Park. The project is a key component of the city’s “Revive the Vine” initiative, aimed at revitalizing the district for both neighborhood residents and tourists."
