In what might be the most interesting Missouri Republican grudge match coming up for the midterms.
We notice a KCMO councilman slowly but steadily moving ahead.
First the basics . . ."Republican congressional candidate Nathan Willett announced the formation of his Agriculture Steering Committee on Wednesday, assembling a group of agricultural leaders, producers, and advocates from across North Missouri as part of his campaign for Missouri’s 6th Congressional District.
"The committee includes representatives from multiple sectors of Missouri agriculture, including cattle, pork, row crop production, ag policy, waterways, and soil science, spanning counties throughout the district."
Now . . .
That's all folksy good stuff that might even put a smile on the face of migrant farm workers getting a free ride home from ICE.
However . . . Here's the inside word that flavors all of this farm talk with a bit of political intrigue . . .
Blake Hurst--included in the Willett group-- is the past Missouri Farm President & from Atchison County. He's an immediate neighbor of Sam Graves in Tarkio.
So, support for Willett is springing up LITERALLY in Sam Graves's backyard. 😁
