Aftermath note on a scare at the new airport this afternoon . . .
The FAA says around 335 p.m., the crew of PSA Airlines Flight 5318 reported smoke in the cabin after landing. The agency says they will investigate.
Officials said the KCI airfield was closed for about 15 minutes while Airport Fire and Rescue responded after the crew ordered an emergency evacuation. ARFF and Kansas City Aviation Department operations staff assisted.
No injuries were reported.
