The painful injury, also known as mother’s wrist, is caused by inflammation around the tendons on the thumb side of the wrist, according to the Mayo Clinic. It can be caused by repetitive movements such as lifting, gripping or twisting.
Brittany also shared a picture of her arm in a brace, saying, “I get to wear this cool thing.”
