IS MIDDLE-CLASS LIFE SLIPPING AWAY FOR MOST KANSAS CITY RESIDENTS?!?!?

More often than not we notice people openly struggling with finances and enduring rough economic circumstances that are far removed from "middle-class" good life promised by prime time TV and movies. 

And so . . .

For anybody able to do basic math . . . Recent numbers recycled by the paper might feel far off and totally out of line with reality . . . Check-it:  

The minimum income needed to be middle class in Kansas City is lower than what residents in 69 other cities need to make, according to SmartAsset. 

The range of what counts as middle class spans over $100,000. The middle class income range in Kansas City is $46,639 to $139,916, based on a median household income of $69,958.
