Vacant Kansas City HUD Apartment Burns 15 Times

One of many abandoned structures that confronts constant infernos from wayward occupants. 

Here's the damage . . .  

"A vacant Northeast apartment complex has caught fire for the 15th time this year, with the most recent blaze breaking out Monday morning at Olive Park Village . . . The building has been vacant since January, when the federal government cut funding after the property owner failed to fix dangerous and unlivable conditions. Dozens of families were forced out.

"Months later, the buildings still sit wide open with no fence and windows and doors left unboarded."
