Suspected KCMO Burglar Barricades Himself Inside Home & Dies In Fire

"The incident started around 3:30 a.m. April 21, when a stranger approached her home near the intersection of Elmwood Avenue and 16th Street.

"Her boyfriend refused to let the person inside. The individual then tried multiple windows before climbing onto the roof and entering through a second-floor bedroom window . . ."
