Meet New Independence Mayor

Forgive our optimism . . . But . . .

There are a lot of people who have "good vibes" about the new leader of Independence, MO and right now we don't want to downplay their optimism. 

Some might disagree with his data center support but strong public safety support and a grassroots campaign might have made the difference in this contest . . . And so . . . Here's the postscript . . . 

"With just over 60% of the vote, Kevin King defeated Independence Councilwoman Dr. Bridget McCandless in Tuesday night's election and will become the next mayor of Independence."
