Lee's Summit West Stays Losing Coach Over Residency Scandal

Lee’s Summit West has vacated all of last season’s wins for football and fired its head coach after the school found residency violations with some of its students.

“Our investigation confirmed that multiple students were enrolled at Lee’s Summit West using fraudulent leases and utility bills despite not residing within the school’s attendance boundaries,” principal Kayla Maid stated in a letter to families.
