What even happened to that "solar array" that we were promised near KCI?!?

We'll probably see it along with about half of those 650K visitors coming to the World Cup.

Accordingly . . .

It's not like we don't want to save the planet and it's pretty obvious the fossil fuels are slowly choking off humanity in every sense. Anybody who cheers conspicuous oil & coal consumption is either an industry shill or some poor soul still stuck in the past still watching cable TV pundits offering only comforting lies.

However . . . The plan for the future needs to be able to work on a cloudy day.

CHECK KANSAS CITY'S LATEST SOLAR SCHEME!!!

This time around the ambitions are a bit smaller and might not earn as much political love given so much recent history which informs us that KC IS WHERE SOLAR PROJECTS GO TO DIE!!!

Kansas City’s Neighborhood Services Department announced that the City has been awarded a $150,000 grant from the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission’s Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality program with funding through the Federal Highway Administration.

As a result of the grant, a BEAM EV Solar charging station will be brought to Kansas City.

“Kansas City is committed to sustaining our environment,” said Forest Decker, Director of the Neighborhood Services Department. “This investment helps advance that commitment by delivering innovative infrastructure that benefits both residents and visitors.”
