Kansas State Senator Mike Thompson Distraught Over Dreamer Winning?!?

This passage from a recent roundup offers right-wing perspective, frustration and maybe a peek at the future . . . 

"That being said, we were unable to stop illegal aliens from receiving public benefits, and we did not pass meaningful property tax relief. The blame for both of these problems lies squarely on the shoulders of Governor Laura Kelly who prioritizes people here illegally over taxpaying Kansas residents. She was aided and abetted by Senate and House Democrats, and a handful of Republicans in both chambers who also seem to have forgotten  who voted to allow them the privilege of sitting in the legislature.

"Thanks to those I mentioned in the paragraph above, Kansas will be sued very soon by the Trump administration for violating Federal law. No matter how you may feel about providing in-state tuition to illegals...it is against US law...and there are consequences we will suffer as a result."

Kansas State Senator Mike Thompson On FB: "When we lose against the Feds on this case (and it's 100% certain we will) we will either have to pass the bill I carried to conform Kansas to Federal law...or provide in-state tuition for anyone and everyone who  attends universities in Kansas."

(TKC hot take: That second option actually doesn't sound so bad . . . Given that so many other Western Democracies do just that . . . )
