After all these years KCMO still hasn't devised a solution to vacant houses constantly ablaze.
Here's one more important reminder of the persistent problem . . .
Fires continue to burn through Kansas City’s historic northeast, affecting neighborhoods where residents say they are working to preserve their community.
The Indian Mound Neighborhood Association said there have been 10 fires since January. One of the most recent fires, reported March 5, remains under investigation.
