Jackson County Prosecutor Blames 'Snitch Code' For Thwarting Cases

In this report we notice TV news attempting to support an elected official following a recent wrist slap following Kansas City's historic, deadly Super Bowl rally mass shooting . . . 

What's disappointing here is that BLM-era social justice language dominates the local crime conversation rather than more important perspectives focused on accountability, victim's rights & deterrence. 

Nevertheless, we consider the local blame shift that holds the public accountable rather than alleged criminals . . .

The "snitch code," according to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office, is preventing cases from being prosecuted.

In the three years before Prosecutor Melesa Johnson’s administration, the office says it declined to charge 218 cases due to lack of witness cooperation.
