Evening tragedy aftermath on voting day . . . Here are the basics as authorities continue to investigate:
"Officers with the Independence Police Department (IPD) responded to the shooting at the Indy Ridge Apartments on East 37th Terrace just before 6:30 p.m.
"When officers arrived on scene they found a man and a woman dead inside the apartment from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the police department."
