"Congressman Mark Alford, along with 29 fellow lawmakers, has sent a letter to House Armed Services Committee leaders urging the expansion of the B-21 Raider program in the Fiscal Year 2027 National Defense Authorization Act. They argue that evolving global threats necessitate more than the originally planned 100 aircraft.

"Support for B-21 program growth: The group advocates for the U.S. to fully fund the B-21 program and reassess its production targets to align with current defense strategies. They highlight the aircraft's advanced capabilities in addressing future military challenges and underscore the significance of the program at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri."
