Clay Chastain: A Petition Drive resumes this weekend that will upset the establishment, upstage Mayor Lucas & change everything.
The outcome of the *Affordable Transportation Initiative* will tell who Voters trust with the fate of a City under strain...it's elected leader or its greatest activist. Mayor Lucas is shunning Chastain's Initiative to renew KC with Affordable Clean Mobility Options centered around a Citywide Airport Monorail to connect the City. Lucas (who hides from the public & has no plan) faces off against Chastain (who engages the public on the streets & has a Plan). Since voters continue to sign the Petition the biased Media has an obligation to act like professionals & cover it. The Man who saved Union Station; won a light rail election; and has battled a corrupt City to protect the Initiative Process, is now fully engaged in the greatest civic cause in the City's history...capturing KC's (unrealized potential) as the "Paris of the Plains".
