A judge ruled Friday that Missouri’s newly drawn congressional district maps will go into effect ahead of this year’s midterm elections.

The lawsuit filed against the state of Missouri and Secretary of State Denny Hoskins – in an attempt to stall the implementation of the new maps – was dismissed on Friday.
