U.S. Senator Josh Hawley continues to support President Trump as U.S. forces launched an attack against Iran that began this weekend and continues. He told Missourinet two days before the military campaign began that it’s crucial the Islamic republic not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons.
“The president has said to Iran that we’re not going to let them have a nuclear bomb, which I think is exactly the right position,” Hawley said. “They need to make a deal to give up their nuclear program, which of course is what the president has been saying for a year and a half now.”
