Police: Booze & 100mph Speeds Contributed To Deadly Teen Crash

The investigation into the cause and circumstances of the crash is ongoing, including a full crash reconstruction.

"It is believed that excess speed and alcohol were contributing factors to the motor vehicle crash," the sheriff's office said

The vehicle had flipped and caught fire, injuring four teens and killing a fifth: Tessa Walker, 18, a senior at Park Hill High School, lost her life in the crash.

The sheriff's office said Friday that the vehicle, a 2024 BMW M4 sedan, was traveling at more than 100 mph when the driver lost control.
