New Grocery Store Coming Soon To KCMO East Side: How Long Will It Last???

As always, we hope there is progress along Prospect . . . But we have every reason to be skeptical.

The plan for a free membership and more security seems solid but city ownership has always worked to thwart any good plan.

And so . . . We can only offer our best wishes and share this update . . .  

"A problematic city-owned grocery store is getting ready to reopen in Kansas City's Linwood Shopping Center near 31st and Prospect.

"The Sun Fresh Market closed there last August following operator complaints about a lack of security. Millions of tax dollars have been invested in the area, including the grocery store."
