"The 13 have a combined net worth of $150.2 billion as of March 10. This is more money than a year of state budget spending for Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska combined, according to data from the Urban Institute. Kansas and Missouri added two billionaires since last year — Peter Mallouk of the Kansas City area and Douglas Rippel of the Wichita area. The wealth of the 11 returning billionaires increased 10% or $12 billion in the last 12 months, outpacing the U.S. inflation of 2.4%."
