Here's the real news that we're gonna have to repeat . . .
As always, the process of Kansas City street renaming is gonna be a horrible slap fight that will do nothing but create longstanding hard feelings.
So, here at TKC we'll keep on adding "helpful suggestions" we encourage readers to add their own.
For now . . . Here's a peek at the fight to come . . .
Mayor Lucas also pointed out the "extensive street renaming process" in Kansas City. The city will follow the rules and listen to its residents for feedback.
"My change right now would be to take the name off the street, make sure we go through the steps to figure out what comes next," Lucas said. "But I think that should be a community-driven, community-led discussion as we go through it."
