Kansas Right-Wing Bloggers FAIL Internets Freedom Test

I always wonder why more people don't read local conservative blogs . . . Our local right-wing bloggers are literally BEGGING people to read with radio and online ads but their often VERY MEANINGFUL & IMPORTANT WORK is mostly overlooked . . .

Here's why . . .

JUST LIKE THEIR PROG BLOG COLLEAGUES, CONSERVATIVE PAY-FOR-PLAY SCRIBES ARE FORCED TO COMPLY WITH THE PARTY LINE EVEN WHEN IT'S DUMB & NONSENSICAL!!!

Make no mistake . . . These guys break important stories all the time and when they do, we have no problem sharing a link . . .

Sadly . . . In this case . . . Local Republican bloggers are forced to align with helicopter parents and advocate for another layer of censorship that gives tech companies FAR TOO MUCH POWER and works to limit information rather than protect youngsters.

That's worse is that the legislation they're being forced to hype treats everyone like a child and betrays real conservative values which often stress that responsible parents provide much better protection for youngsters than big government or strangers on the Internets.

To be fair, we're sharing their take . . .

"The App Store Accountability Act is more privacy-protective than the status quo, where tech giants are harvesting and using your data – and your child’s data – however they want.

"SB 372 and its focus on app stores, which are the chokepoint where children download the apps they spend a majority of their time on, is the next logical step after Kansas passed legislation requiring age verification to access adult websites and content on the internet.

"The App Store Accountability Act delivers greater tools for Kansas parents to protect their children and create a better digital future for our next generation.

"The wave of opposition from tech companies only shows they will stop at nothing to try to avoid the creation of guardrails for an industry that has been largely unregulated for decades. "
